Nosrat Hosseini was born in 1954 in Tehran & grew up in Khoramshahr city, Khuzestan. She was married when she was 21 years old & has 3 children. She began painting from 1974 but she had to leave her job as well as her city because of the war between Iran and Iraq. Since then she lives in Tehran. She didn’t go back to painting until 10 years ago when she decided to pursue her artwork more professionally. Her works are portrayals of her very personal deep emotional experiences.
